I don't know if any of you guys have heard about the earthquake in Japan, but the last few days there has been an earthquake that was rated an 8.9 on the scale (which can be one of the worst types of earthquakes I think) There have been up to 1,000 people who have died and many who are/have been trapped and surrounded on land in Japan with no food or water or any chance in survival. The U.S.A is sending over some needed supplies from Taiwan (I AM NOT SURE! I AM JUST GUESSING FROM WHAT I HEARD FROM THE NEWS EARLIER TODAY! PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) It is taking place in Honshu, Japan. There have been blackouts, fires, and damages mostly caused by floods (mostly, all the mud and dirt is damaging) over half the city. I just want to say that have these people in your minds right now. The people who have lost their families, lost their home, lost anything. . . I just want to dedicate this blog to everybody who has lost someone or something in Japan and hope and pray that everyone in Hawaii and San Francisco don't get hit too hard.
I hope it is okay if I put a prayer on here:
We pray for those who died in this recent disaster.
May their souls rest in peace.
May their families be comforted.
We pray for the living survivors.
Be with them, Lord, in this traumatic time.
May they experience Your healing,
In their spirits as well as their bodies.
We pray for the communities affected.
May they come together in solidarity
To rebuild and to affirm new life
Amid the ancient stones.
I, personally am not a religious person. I really hope I don't offend anybody. I certainly do not mean to offend anybody in any way at all. I just want to say this because in my heart, it feels like the right thing to do.
I hope everything will soon come together in the end. All I personally ask is to keep the people in Japan in your thoughts, Thank you.
I REALLY HOPE I DIDN'T OFFEND ANYBODY! I ABSOLUTELY DON'T MEAN TO GO AGAINST ANY OF YOUR MORALS AND VALUES ETC. (If you are offended at all by this in any way, please email me or comment so I know what is the right thing and the wrong thing to post :D )

Day 9
Today, I am going to blog about my favorite pair of shoes that I own!!!!! Just to add on, I will put in a pair of shoes that I wish I had and I am going to put my favorite boots by season!!! So here we go:
So this is my favorite winter/fall boots:
So this isn't the exact pair, but it is really close except the boots are not brown and they have three square buckles, not circular like these ones! These are my favorite winter boots because first, they are super duper cute, and mine are black so they match everything! And they are so cute with skirts and skinny jeans!! YAY! Because that is basically everything I wear for pants : )
Note: These specific boots are from DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) and they are $70.00 according to the website. I think my boots were $30.00 but I don't know because I got them from Christmas!
So here are my favorite spring/summer shoes:
(BESIDE FLIP FLOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I have these in brown... I love wearing these with shorts and skirts in the summer (Because here, it gets so hot I can't stand wearing pants, even at night! I would die! I mean I think it is just me because everyone else seemes to be fine with it, but I get so hot and my legs are so uncomfortable and ack! But, summer and warmth is still so far away!) But, yea I love these shoes! They look really uncomfortable but they actually are pretty comfortable.... Shoe tip: If you think shoes are going to give you blisters, rub Vaseline on the spot where you might get blisters before you go out, and bring a small jar of it with you so if it starts to hurt again you can put it there. Something about the slipperiness and texture helps a lot!!!!!!!
Shoes I want to buy:
Ok, so these shoes, I will probably never buy in my life. I wouldn't have anywhere to wear them except probably a wedding but I have never been invited to a wedding before :( But, I don't really go to fancy places where I could go out and wear these.
School: I wear a uniform
Special Events: I have got plenty of other shoes I can wear that I haven't worn in a while
Going out with my friends: I don't go anywhere except my house, movies, or the mall recently so....
Also, I really would like these because I don't own a single pair of heels in my closet (because I am a complete klutz and can't even walk straight in flats!) And, I think that these are really cute!!!!! But, I don't absolutely need them so I have plenty of other things! :)
Hope this was somewhat interesting!! It was part of the 30 day challenge... AND I FEEL TERRIBLE BECAUSE IT IS OVER MIDNIGHT RIGHT NOW, BUT I FEEL LIKE SINCE I HAVEN"T GONE TO SLEEP YET, IT DOESN'T COUNT!

Just a heads up...
Ok, so for the next coming week this is what I am going to TRY to do. . . Emphasis on the try :)
Ok, so I am going to post a nail polish review (I do not really have a big collection because I am JUST getting into nail polishes because my hands naturally shake. There is nothing I can do to stop it is just me! And for the longest time I had the hardest time understanding how someone could paint their nails a color with such a big brush with such a tiny nail! But I practiced and practice=almost perfect! YAY!)
I will try to post the daily challenge posts :)
I will try to post one review on a makeup product I am trying now (I don't want to tell you just yet!)
And, just whatever is going on in my life right now!
Side note: Comments and requests are always appreciated! I love hearing what you think about the blog or anything. . . If you want me to do a review on something or write about an issue or anything I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear anything :) Email me at julia.harris74@yahoo.com and if you can't send it to yahoo (sometimes if you don't have yahoo email you can't send to a yahoo address) send me an email at julia.harris151@gmail.com thanks!

Day 8
Today, I am supposed to blog about my favorite picture that makes me laugh... well here it is:
This makes me laugh because I was such a weird kid. I was that kid who everybody thought was weird. I would call people normal and call myself weird just because it made me different. I would wear mis-matching socks just to look weird. . . . . . . And the big thing was that I would mispronounce people's names on purpose just to annoy them. . . . I was just a weird child and this picture makes me laugh because it reminds me how weird I was! I took this picture when I was living in France and we were visiting Amsterdam with my grandma and we were just about to go out to look at the annex of Anne Frank and I was waiting for my grandma to finish up putting on her lipstick (is it just my grandmas or is every grandma obsessed with putting on lipstick and having their "pocketbook" with them! comment below if this is the case or otherwise!) and her camera was on the bed so I decided to take some weird pictures :) This is not what I look like now. . . . This is what I look like:
And here I am making another funny face!! YAY!!!!!!! Hope this blog was a little interesting. . . if not I hope the pictures were at least a LITTLE entertaining :)

Day 7
IT FINALLY HAS BEEN A WEEK! YAY! And this week, I haven't really made many blogs because when school begins a new week, I get really busy! BUSY BUSY BUSY! And I normally want to excersice more so I am taking time away for that, and for blogging, and then homework, and then SLEEP!
So today, I am going to talk about the person that inspires me the most. I know a lot of people who inspire me personally but since none of you probably know them, I am going to say a famous person! So the person that inspires me the most is probably Tyra Banks, the model. I know this might sound silly but she has done so much with her life and she owns her own TV show and she hosts and created America's Next Top Model (WHICH I LOVE!) And this show is all about helping other model's! How nice is that!? She also is really down to earth nice person! She isn't a fake who gives money to a lot of charities and then acts like they can do whatever they want... she helps people and charities PLUS she is a funny down to earth person :) It also inspires me because she came from somewhere that was abusive and everything bad and she made something off of it and helps others. She inspires me because she is so successful now because she made herself successful by herself.... :) Tell me who inspires you!

Day 6
So now, I am going to do a blog on anything in Lush. . . So since I have just recently started to like Lush, I don't really have a lot to talk about since I have only used a few of their/its products, but I used the Avobath Bomb and it was soooo cool! I put a review up and its called "New Update" so if you are interested in that one, go read it! :) so I also used the Ceridwen's Cauldron. It is this soap thing covered in this fish net thing tied around with a string... It smells so much like lavender... which is my favorite scent : ) Here is the description from the website:
Magical, relaxing melt for softer skin.
Helen invented the bath melt and this is as wonderful as you can get. We recommend lots of candles around the bathroom and the phone turned off for this one. Each melt is wrapped in muslin, dipped in wild flowers and tied with a ribbon.
Enchanting potion of oats, lavender and sandalwood.
According to the spell it is based on, if you spit three times in the water, your wish will come true. Cocoa butter and walnut oil melt into the bath-water, frothing slightly, leaving you a muslin bag of whole oats to give your skin a soothing and gently scented scrub.
The thing where it says about spitting in your bath tub. . . ummm I don't know about thatttttt. . . but all the other stuff is true! It is really relaxing and it gives off a great aroma of lavender and since it has bits of oats, that is really good for your skin I think : ) Bottom line is I would definitely repurchase this.... but I really want to try different products first before I buy the same ones again : )

Fun and Educational
So, for Valentine's Day my dad got my mom an iPad! Let me tell you right now that these are the coolest things on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have an iPod or an iPhone or anything except my laptop (so my laptop basically substitutes for all those so I don't want or need an iPod,, unless I borrow my sister's when I excercise which is never hahahhaa but I am getting back into the swing of things!) ANYWAY, I don't really feel the need for an iPod but seriously, the iPad is super cool :) My mom doesn't have a lot of apps because she is still trying to learn how to use it (hahaha she doesn't really know how to work electronics!) and so my sister and I downloaded this free app for scrabble! And I do not like this game on the board at all. I think it is a boring board game that is for old people. But on the iPad it is a whole different story!! It is so fun and it is educational (I hope! But, it is better than going on facebook!) So the bottom line is, I love scrabble on an iPad :) Me and my sister and my dad play all the time now and it is really fun and (when we go on vacation, we normally drive wherever we have to be. . . once we were in this small, cramped car for 20 hours straight. . . it was R-O-U-G-H ) but it is going to be a really good car game :) JUST SAYING! Comment below if you have an apple device that allows you to buy apps like this
Also, you can play scrabble online, or against other people... SO FUN!
