Break Time!

So, now that there is a new school week again (GOD BLESS THE WEEKENDS!) I have to start homework again (because normally I get my homework done as quickly as I can on Friday and then have a relaxation weekend.. normally) and now, I am doing my homework (or taking a break from it) and writing a blog! It is going to be about. . . a new snack.

So, now that I am trying to eat healthier because summer is almost coming (and almost to me, means 4 months!) and 4 months isn't always enough time to get toned because I am a big procrastinator when it comes to important stuff. . . so, I have recently been eating a TON of avocado because supposedly it is good for your skin and it is a vegetable and it is green, my favorite color! So, I always put in avocado in salads for dinner (because usually every night I have a salad with something) and so recently I have been eating half of an avocado, and these pretzel thins (baked because I THINK that is healthier, but if not please correct me on that!) and I dip the pretzel thins in it and there we go! It used to be guacamole (avocado, mayonnaise, salt, lemon juice, pepper) but I got too lazy making that so it is just avocado. I hope this snack is healthy because I have been eating it a lot, but I am pretty sure it is healthy because I eat a vegetable so yea. . . if that is bad for you, I always have an apple a day because every time my grandma comes to visit my house she always makes me eat apples everyday and I have just been into the habit of eating an apple once a day (or try to eat one. . . I do not eat an apple every single day of the year, but I try to, probably 4 out of the 7 days of the week I eat an apple!)

Also, I have been trying to stay away from the boxed things and snacks you find in a pantry (besides the pretzels) I say to myself "If it is in a box or if you find it in the pantry, don't eat it" Or, if you find it in my pantry because some people keep different things in their pantries :) But I also remember that I am still 15 so I can eat whatever I want and I do! But, recently I have been eating healthier! ! ! ! !

Day 5

Ok, I can't believe it has only been 5 days! It feels like it has been 2 weeks! I totally have summer fever if that is a real thing but in my head this is what it means:

Summer Fever: The act of being excited for summer and warmth that your head explodes and the weeks start to go slower. . . .

If you have any other way to describe that, let me know! :D

Ok, anyway, the real reason for this blog was not to give the definition for summer fever, but to blog on my 5th day of the 30 day challenge: What is my favorite thing to do. . . this is a pretty broad question, but I think over all I would say hanging out with people, new people, family, friends, anybody :) But, I think that would be anybody's favorite thing (or the majority, but if it isn't that is fine too!) So, I am going to narrow it down a little. I think my favorite thing to do would probably be going to the beach! Where I live, there are no great beaches so I am in need of a beach! But when I visit my grandparents (Which is probably once a year) I go to the beach with them and I think that pretty much  highlights my whole year (unless I did something outrageous like go skydiving or something but right now, lets just go with a normal year!) I love the beach. It is warm, there is sand in between your toes, you get to tan, there is nice, fresh water, you get to pretend to be a kid again and build sandcastles and have no body give you weird looks (ok, people give me weird looks but WHATEVER!) there are cute boys, and last but totally not least, I just feel happier when I am at the beach. I don't know, maybe it is teenage year emotional rollercoaster, but I always feel happy and refreshed and just free and open again when I am at the beach. Does that make sense at all? Also, I love the beach because whenever I go it is always an outing with my family.

My Family's Beach Necessities:

1. Big huge bag
2. Too many towels
3. Mats to put your towels on so they won't get all sandy
4. Big huge umbrella
5. Snacks: Triscuits, Pringles, Juice Boxes, Cool Ranch Doritos (And these are the only snacks we bring, I don't know why not others, but it always has to be these snacks. . . . weird)
6. Sun Tan Lotion
7. My mom's bag
8. My sister's bag
9. My bag (which normally consists of seventeen magazine, Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly (SO PRETTY FOR BEACHY WAVES!) Book, and Towel etc.
10. Beach Chairs

SO. . . with all that stuff to bring, it is pretty much like we are going to live at the beach :) But I love going to the beach and I am somewhat glad that I don't live near the beach because then I would know I would go all the time until I am sick of it! And I don't want to be sick of it! My cousins, for example, live near the beach, and every time we visit them my family and I are always like "LETS GO TO THE BEACH!" and my cousins are always like "No, I don't like the beach it is too sandy, and we have been there so many times it isn't fun anymore" Has that ever happened to you with something you loved. Like if you got a trampoline and for the first few weeks you were jumping 24/7 but then after a month you got so sick of it??? Comment below if something like that has ever happened to you :)

But anyway, my favorite thing to do is go to the beach, wether it is swimming, tanning, sleeping on the sand, building sand castles (or my personal favorite, to build a hole as deep as you can until you can jump in it and have the edges be above your head! IT IS SO FUN, TRY IT!)
But to conclude, I LOVE THE BEACH!!!

ME + BEACH = HAPPY JULIA!!!

Comment below and tell me what your favorite thing to do is :)

In your opinion...

Ok, so I really want to get back in the excersicing mood (not that I think I need to lose weight) Just I want to stay healthy and all that, and sometimes I like excersicing because it makes me happy and proud that I actually accomplished something haha :) So anyway, I really want to get an excersicing machine (either treadmill or elliptical machine) and first, I was wondering which one I should get... like is a treadmill more healthier and more efficient? or is an elliptical machine more efficient and healthier? Also, since I am going to be paying for the majority of the excercise machine, does anybody know a machine that is under $500??? AND does anybody know of a machine that is under $500 and it lasts more than one year? Because if I am going to spend a lot of money on something, I kind of want it to last a long time :) Thank you!!!! Don't be afraid to make requests on me to write about something! I would love requests :)

Also, thank you so much everybody for reading and commenting! Everytime I read a comment, it brightens my day a little! Thanks so much :) xoxo

My obsession for...

This post is going to be about my obsession for exclamation points!!!!!!! So, every time I click the button that says publish post, I then go and re-read it and then I always realize that I have about 50 exclamation marks... I don't really know why I add them in, I think maybe because when I talk, I normally have a naturally loud and energetic voice so that is why I feel the need to add the exclamation points to show that the sentence I write is meant to be read with an exciting voice... I am a weird person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just have a natural reaction to put an exclamation point when I end a sentance... OR I do the period of ellipses........................ So to conclude:

This: !!!!!!!!!!!! Means to read it in an excited tone

and this: .... means that the sentence has ended and I am going to move on to another topic...

yea..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I just realized that all the periods just look like a line ahaaha ok how about this: . . . . . . . . . . . . ! ! ! ! ! !

Rambling...

So, another random fact about me is that I love celebrating birthdays! I think they are really important in the year because it is a holiday specialized for YOU! Plus, you get older every year so that is always important too! Also, it is a day all about you! You rarely get days that are specifically designed for your purposes (and I am not saying you get to boss everyone around, I am saying that every one is like, Happy Birthday! to you all day and that is just something that makes me feel really special!) But anyway, this may be really weird and you do not have to do it, but if you want to, comment when your birthday is or email it to me at: julia.harris74@yahoo.com OR if that doesn't work julia.harris151@gmail.com and tell me when your birthday is and how old you are turning so when that day comes, I can wish you happy birthday! YAY! If you don't want to that, that is totally fine :)

My Goal

Ok, so I decided that I want to have 100 followers before June 9th, 2011. That will give me plenty of time and I am not sure about this but I have been thinking about giving a giveaway... I haven't thought about it a lot so I am just spit balling ideas right now so it may not even happen... But I don't know, I would have to think about it a lot, but I think that it would be really fun if I reach my goal before June 9th! What do you guys think? Should I make the date farther away from now or closer? Do you think I can do it? And what do you think about the give away? What are your thoughts on that... I haven't decided officially on the decision of the giveaway but I want to hear your thoughts on it :) Thanks! Happy Weekend!

Day 4

So, right now I am taking a break from studying biology... yahoo!

So today, I am supposed to write about my favorite makeup product I wish I had... which is Urban Decay Primer Potion. I have heard so many great reviews about this product and it is supposed to be a really great primer for your eyes... which I am in dire need of! (ok maybe not dire but I really want it!) Every single day, I put on my eye makeup and at the end of the day when I shut my eyelids there is nothing but different colored streaks (the colors of the eyeshadows I put on) and it looks really unatractive and I really wish I had this product so I can stop that from happening :) But for now, all I have is concealer. I am thinking about getting this product for my sister because she is getting into makeup like I am (she is 18) and so I am thinking about buying it for her first so I can see if she likes it and then I might get it for myself... but one problem is that I don't drive ( I am 15 and yea I know I am supposed to already know how to drive, but I find driving terrifying and so I am not going to learn how to drive unless I absolutely need to which is probably going to be after college but I don't know!) But anyway... I really want this product but I can't drive myself to the mall that is half an hour away and yesterday, I was only looking for the jacket so I didn't have time to go into Sephora. But yea... I might buy this product soon but I don't know... if you have this tell me about it! Is it a good buy, is it going to prevent creasing like everybody says it does? Anything, I would love to hear your comments!
